Special Education Teacher - Maple Grove, MN

Make a meaningful impact supporting students in the "Ready, Set, Launch" program, an expanded center-based initiative serving elementary learners with autism and unique developmental profiles. This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated professionals, providing specially designed instruction in an engaging school environment near Maple Grove, MN. The position runs from August 31, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

What We’re Seeking:

• Valid Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education Teaching license (required for consideration)
• Experience supporting elementary-age students, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities
• Strong planning skills, adaptability, and a team-oriented approach
• Confidence in working collaboratively with teachers, aides, and related service providers
• A commitment to fostering positive, inclusive classroom environments
• Up-to-date resume demonstrating relevant experience and licensure

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students participating in the Ready, Set, Launch, LAUNCH, and DCD programs
• Develop, implement, and modify Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum and instructional techniques to individual student needs
• Work closely with families and school teams to ensure consistent support
• Regularly assess student progress and document findings
• Maintain a safe, structured, and encouraging classroom culture
