Special Education Teacher | Maple Grove, Minnesota

Make an impact in the lives of students as a contract Special Education Teacher with an innovative program designed to empower learners in a setting III/centerbase LAUNCH environment. Your expertise will support and inspire growth for students with unique learning needs throughout the academic year.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Previous experience in a special education or center-based classroom preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized instruction and behavioral support for students in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, school staff, and families
• Create a structured, nurturing classroom setting to advance student engagement and achievement
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and school-based activities
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation

You’ll be stepping into a Monday–Friday role (37.5 hours per week) that allows you to focus on building strong, lasting connections with your students, while working alongside a dynamic, supportive educational community.
