As part of an engaging onsite team, you’ll help shape student success from the first orientation through the full academic year. This contract opportunity runs from late July through May, aligning with student and teacher calendars and offering valuable experience across five distinct programs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, active AZ Department of Education Standard K-12 Teaching Certification
• Valid fingerprint clearance card
• Experience working in special education—behavioral, resource, or adaptive programs highly valued
• Strong skills in differentiated instruction and classroom management
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and students
• Passion for fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to IEP goals
• Develop and implement behavior management strategies
• Adapt curriculum content for varying abilities and needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, documentation, and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure student growth
• Engage in ongoing professional development and team initiatives
