Special Education Teacher | Marble Falls, Texas

This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work with 2nd through 5th-grade life-skills students, playing an integral role within a dedicated special education team. As a key contributor, you will help guide and support the academic and functional development of your students while fostering an environment of respect, growth, and perseverance.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Certified Special Education Teacher with experience working in school settings
• Familiarity with life-skills programs, especially at the elementary school level (grades 2-5)
• Strong background in case management and IEP development, including serving as a Frontline lead for IEP work
• Experience supporting or leading SAMA-trained environments (restraint certification)
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about meeting the unique needs of every learner

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and interventions based on students’ IEP goals
• Manage caseloads and oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs
• Collaborate with administrators, related service providers, teachers, and families to create a positive and effective learning climate
• Assist with daily dismissal duties, with the potential for para support for coverage
• Foster independence, social skills, and positive behaviors within a structured, supportive classroom
