Special Education Teacher - Maricopa, AZ

This full-time, contract role focuses on supporting preschool-aged students (ages 3–5) through collaboration, innovation, and compassion. You’ll play an integral role in the early identification and intervention process, closely partnering with the Child Find team to maximize each child’s potential.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction to preschool students in both morning and afternoon classroom sessions
• Work alongside the Child Find team to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for newly identified students
• Craft and maintain effective, compliant IEPs that address each student’s unique needs
• Conduct assessments and ongoing progress monitoring, utilizing data to inform instruction
• Engage in IEP meetings, staff collaborations, and team planning sessions
• Participate in professional development and planning days each Wednesday—these are dedicated, non-instructional days
• Maintain transparent and supportive communication with families and service providers

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Current Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification
• Demonstrated experience in early childhood or preschool special education
• A collaborative approach and commitment to supporting diverse learning needs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
