Your role will include:

Qualifications/Desired Skills:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification
  • Experience with elementary or middle school caseloads preferred
  • Comfort with toileting assistance and collaborating in a team-focused environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability in new settings

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an elementary classroom for 6 students (no significant behavioral needs; toileting support required, no feeding support) with the help of a teaching assistant and a behavior technician
  • Guide a middle school group of 11 students (one with a feeding tube, toileting support for some) alongside a robust support team—teacher, three TAs, and a 1:1 aide
  • Develop and deliver IEP-aligned instruction
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture
  • Collaborate regularly with classroom staff and support professionals to deliver outstanding educational experiences
