Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Massachusetts Moderate Disabilities certification (required)
• Previous experience teaching special education at the middle school level preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate with general education teachers in a co-teaching model
• Skilled in creating and implementing IEPs tailored to student needs
• Passion for fostering inclusive classroom environments
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility and commitment to ongoing professional development

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction to students with diverse learning needs in a co-taught classroom
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Develop and implement effective IEPs and progress monitoring
• Communicate regularly with families, providing updates on student growth
• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
• Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and school events as needed
