In this role, you will partner effectively within a co-taught classroom to implement interventions and design individualized support strategies. Your expertise will ensure every student—regardless of their unique abilities—can thrive academically and socially in an inclusive environment.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification, with experience at the middle school level strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of inclusion practices and accommodations for students with diverse needs
- Ability to collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Familiarity with intervention techniques and differentiated instruction methods
- Strong communication and organizational skills to maintain documentation and foster family engagement
- Experience working with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and adapting curriculum as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-teach a 7th-grade inclusion classroom alongside a partner teacher
