Special Education Teacher in Marshall, IL

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instruction and support for a caseload of 8–10 PreK students in a resource setting.
• Utilize both push-in and pull-out service models to best meet each child’s needs.
• Create, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with student strengths and areas for growth.
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, families, and support staff to foster an inclusive and productive learning experience.
• Maintain all documentation in accordance with state and district standards, ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping.

Desired Qualifications:

• Possession of a current Illinois LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) License.
• PreK Endorsement required.
• Prior experience in early childhood special education is highly valued.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities essential.
