Special Ed Teacher - Marysville, California

This position seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher specializing in Early Childhood Special Education for a contract-based role starting January 2026 through the end of the school year. Located in Marysville, CA, this opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week within a specialized early childhood setting.

Key responsibilities include managing a preschool caseload within a Special Day Class (SDC) classroom. The class consists of 11 students divided into morning and afternoon sessions, supported by two paraprofessionals. While students attend Monday through Thursday, Fridays are designated for in-person planning and collaboration.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Possession of a valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential with Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Authorization
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in special education settings
• Ability to effectively collaborate with classroom paraprofessionals and other support staff
• Strong organizational and communication skills to handle dual morning and afternoon sessions
