Special Education Teacher in Marysville, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification or credentials to teach Special Education in California
• Previous experience working with students with varying special needs is strongly desired
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with school staff, parents, and external professionals
• Flexibility and adaptability in supporting a changing caseload and classroom needs as provided
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment for all learners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and create individualized education plans (IEPs) that address each student’s unique goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, families, and support staff to support student progress
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to help every child succeed
• Foster positive relationships and a safe, welcoming classroom atmosphere
• Stay well-informed about best practices and compliance requirements within special education
