This position involves providing specialized instruction and support for students with diverse learning needs within a K-12 school setting. The role is part-time and requires onsite presence to effectively collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create an inclusive learning environment tailored to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction to students with disabilities across various grade levels within a K-12 school.
• Develop, implement, and modify IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrative staff regarding student development and challenges.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws and school policies.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for K-12 education.
• Experience working with children and adolescents with diverse disabilities.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP development, and behavioral intervention techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in an onsite environment.
