Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid special education teaching licensure in the state or eligibility to obtain one
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with diverse needs in a resource setting (K-2 or high school)
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
• Ability to cultivate a supportive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
• Previous experience working with OCS students and implementing work skills curriculum (for high school role) is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with students, parents, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and adapt lesson plans tailored for individual student abilities and learning goals
• Provide direct instruction, academic intervention, and behavioral support
• Monitor student progress and document outcomes in compliance with IEPs
• Coordinate with general education teachers and support staff to promote student inclusion
• For OCS pathway: Support life skills and foster independence, focusing on work readiness for post-graduation success
