Special Education Teacher (EMD) | 2026-2027 School Year

Soliant is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers with an EMD certification for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in McCall Creek, Mississippi.

Position Details

• Full-Time
• 37.5 Hours per Week
• 2026-2027 School Year
• EMD Certification Required

Openings Available

• High School Caseload
• Approximately 12 students (typically 8-9 actively served)
• Elementary Caseload
• Approximately 6 students
• Supported by 2 classroom assistants

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Provide specialized instruction to students with emotional and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Create a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications

• Active Mississippi Special Education Teaching License
• EMD Certification Required
• New graduates and candidates currently renewing or obtaining certification are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience working with students with emotional or behavioral disabilities preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
