Bring your passion and expertise in special education to an engaging, rewarding full-time opportunity supporting elementary students in K-2. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a diverse educational environment, with two immediate openings available. You will work onsite, 35 hours per week, from 8:30 AM to 4 PM, helping shape learning experiences through innovative instruction and strong classroom management. This role runs through June 10, 2027, and focuses on supporting children in an elementary school setting near Media, PA.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active special education teaching certification or licensure required for assigned caseload
- Bachelor’s degree required (necessary for emergency teaching permit)
- Prior school-based experience, specifically within urban settings
- Up-to-date PA clearances completed or in progress
- Skilled in developing lesson plans aligned with state and district standards
- Strong classroom and behavioral management abilities
- Comfortable working in district and specific school environments
- Must have reliable transportation
- Able to commit to full-time onsite hours (no schedule accommodations)
