Special Education Teacher | Media, Pennsylvania

Shape the future for elementary students as a Special Education Teacher working with kindergarten through 4th grade learners. This full-time contract opportunity runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (8:00am–4:00pm). You’ll build meaningful connections, implement proven strategies, and collaborate with a dedicated team supporting a caseload of approximately 20 students.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid K-4 Special Education Teacher Certification required
• Previous experience providing special education services at the elementary level preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP implementation, progress monitoring, and data-driven instruction
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create inclusive, positive learning environments
• Proven skills in adapting curriculum for diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to each student’s unique abilities
• Develop, write, and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor and report student progress toward academic and behavioral goals
• Partner closely with other educators, staff, and families to foster student achievement

• Maintain accurate records and uphold all compliance requirements
