Certified Middle School Special Education Teacher in Medina, OH

You’ll work with a dedicated team to provide individualized instruction in inclusive classrooms, while also facilitating targeted small group instruction as needed. With manageable caseloads—including approximately 10 elementary students (K-4th grade) in an inclusion setting and two split middle school caseloads of around 29 students each (7th and 8th grades)—you’ll have the chance to make significant impact while collaborating closely with fellow educators.

Qualifications:

• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
• Licensure for K-8 or relevant grade levels required
• Experience working in both inclusion settings and small group pull-outs preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students on assigned caseloads within inclusive classrooms
• Develop, implement, and track IEP goals in collaboration with team members and families
• Facilitate small group sessions for targeted academic and behavioral interventions
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff
• Maintain accurate progress documentation and participate in IEP meetings
