K-2 Special Education Instructor

Location: Near Melvindale, Michigan (48122)
Assignment Type: School-Based Contract Opportunity

Assignment Dates:
• 2026–2027 School Year
• Full school year position available

Schedule:
• Monday – Friday
• 35+ Hours Per Week

Caseload Details:
• Early elementary special education caseload
• Cross-categorical classroom setting
• Classroom support staff available daily

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student goals
• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals and multidisciplinary staff
• Maintain IEP documentation and progress monitoring
• Promote a safe and engaging classroom environment

Requirements:
• Michigan Special Education Certification required
• Prior school-based experience preferred
• Elementary or self-contained classroom experience preferred
