What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or related field
• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Strong skills in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability in a classroom setting
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and manage classroom behavior

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, adapt, and implement individualized instructional plans to meet students’ specific goals
• Assess student progress through data-driven strategies and maintain records accordingly
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment to promote student engagement and achievement
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Utilize assistive technology and other resources to maximize student learning
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for special education
