Special Education Teacher in Mendota, CA

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Credential.
• Experience working with elementary-age students in a special education setting.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with assessment tools and progress monitoring for students with mild to moderate learning differences.
• Commitment to positive behavior support and evidence-based instructional strategies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction to students as outlined in IEPs.
• Collaborate with general education staff, families, and other service providers to support student achievement.
• Track student progress and regularly update documentation to ensure learning goals are met.
• Adapt curriculum and materials to meet each student’s unique needs and abilities.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning and review processes.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities as required.
