Special Education Teacher in Mendota, CA

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and academic support to a caseload of mild to moderate elementary students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), monitor progress, and maintain compliance with legal and educational standards
• Collaborate with general education teachers to deliver services within inclusive and resource settings
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to foster student independence, self-advocacy, and social-emotional skills
• Communicate regularly with families, fostering a supportive partnership in student education
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and multidisciplinary team discussions
