Special Education Teacher - Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Wisconsin Special Education Teaching Licensure required
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
• Skills in creating and adapting lesson plans to meet individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities with staff, students, and families
• Organizational skills and attention to documentation and compliance standards

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students on your caseload, delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
• Implement and monitor IEPs, tracking student progress and making adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with families about student growth, strategies, and supports
• Maintain accurate records related to IEPs, progress reports, and other documentation as required by law
