Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Current certification in Special Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Previous experience teaching in a special education setting strongly desired
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Effective communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Strong classroom management and adaptive instruction abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and support staff
Role Responsibilities:
