Special Education Teacher in Meriden, CT

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility in the state)
• Experience with early childhood or pre-K students, ideally ages 3-4
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, therapists, and other teachers
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet a variety of learning needs
• Creative, patient, and flexible approach to working with young children

• Designing and delivering instruction tailored to each child’s IEP and developmental needs

• Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate, timely records
