Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Connecticut Special Education Teacher licensure and certification required
• Solid, recent school-based experience supporting students with special needs
• Comfortable working in a variety of program settings: Pathways (multiple disabilities), KEY (Autism), and inclusive models
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies and collaborate with colleagues and families
• References available to complete prior to hire
• Open to working across all K-12 grade levels
• Ready to participate in an efficient, virtual Zoom interview process

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group instruction that aligns with student IEPs
• Monitor, document, and report student progress while fostering an inclusive classroom culture
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adapt curriculum and behavioral supports
• Engage in regular communication with families and staff to support student success
• Maintain compliance with state and local special education guidelines
