Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
• Ability to manage caseloads of 13–17 students, including 1:1 support needs
• Proficient in adapting instruction and providing differentiated strategies
• Strong communication and collaborative skills with staff and families
• Organizational skills and flexibility in a dynamic school environment

Role Highlights:

• Contract covers at least two positions, possibly three, primarily focused on grades 3 (elementary) and 7 (middle school)
• One teacher may serve two schools with defined hours: Middle School (7:45–2:15), Elementary School (8:45–3:15) with a focus on 4th grade
• Caseload varies based on staffing: 17 students for one teacher, 13–14 each if two are hired
• Five students require 1:1 services; students are currently receiving virtual speech therapy
• First day of school is August 27; IEP management and meetings begin September 9
• Serve as a Full-Time Case Manager for students with a range of needs
• Immediate need at the middle school
