Responsibilities include:

• Providing specialized instruction in language arts, math, and behavioral support within small group settings and inclusive classroom models
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
• Collaborating closely with general education teachers to support differentiated instruction and seamless integration of students
• Maintaining consistent communication with families to encourage home/school partnership and ensure student success
• Participating in regular meetings and leveraging the guidance of experienced resource teachers within a team setting
• Working Monday through Friday, approximately 35-40 hours per week, ensuring both routine and continuity for students

Qualifications and experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (as required by the state)
• Experience working with diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, particularly with IEPs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both colleagues and parents
• Positive, student-centered approach to teaching and support
