Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state certification as a Special Education Teacher (required)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Experience teaching students with behavioral and emotional needs, preferably in a self-contained setting
• Strong classroom management and conflict de-escalation skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborative spirit to partner with support staff, therapists, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a positive, structured classroom environment for students with varying behavioral and academic needs
