Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification (state-specific).
• Previous experience implementing and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, best practices, and instructional strategies.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and school staff.
• Ability to develop a positive, inclusive classroom climate.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and regularly review IEPs for each student on your caseload.
• Deliver differentiated instruction and accommodations to support diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education staff, support personnel, and families to ensure student success.
• Monitor student progress, provide necessary interventions, and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Foster a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
