An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Special Education professional to support students as a Middle School Inclusion Specialist. The available contract position offers a rewarding full-time schedule, running the entire school year—40 hours per week—starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 2027. Ideal candidates will bring the following:

• Valid Special Education EC-12 certification (required)
• Content area certification strongly preferred
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with inclusion or resource settings at the middle school level
• Strong communication and collaborative skills for working alongside general education staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet a range of needs in the classroom

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct support and individualized instruction to students with special needs in inclusive classroom settings
• Collaborating with general education teachers to modify curriculum and implement accommodations or interventions
• Developing, monitoring, and revising Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records
• Participating in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
