Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas SPED EC-12 certification, as well as secondary Math certification
• Previous experience teaching middle school Math within a special education setting
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt curriculum to meet students’ unique needs
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized math instruction to middle school students in both small group and inclusion settings
• Design and implement effective IEPs, tracking progress and communicating with staff and families
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state guidelines
• Advocate for students and facilitate their academic, behavioral, and social development
