Special Education Teacher Mesquite, TX - 3540/hour

Soliant is hiring a Special Education Teacher for a full-time school-based opportunity near Mesquite, Texas.

Position Details:

• Full-time: 40 hours per week

• Start Date: 10/19

• Through the end of the school year

• Onsite position

• Elementary through High School placements

• Self-contained, Life Skills, SLC, Resource, and Inclusion settings

• Caseloads vary based on placement and student needs

Typical Caseloads:

• Self-contained/Life Skills/SLC: 8–14 students with paraprofessional support

• Resource/Inclusion: approximately 20–30 students

• Resource classes typically serve 8–16 students at a time

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Special Education Teacher certification

• EC–12 Special Education certification required

• EC–6 or 6–12 Generalist/Core certification preferred

• Experience with ARD meetings and IEP implementation

• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills

Pay & Benefits:
