Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana DOE Certificate with a Special Education (SPED) endorsement (required)
• Strong preference for candidates already certified in Louisiana
• Temporary teaching authorizations (TAT/TA) are not sufficient—only fully credentialed professionals will be considered
• Availability for immediate credentialing, including district-specific drug screening and fingerprinting
• Ability to adapt in dynamic school environments and serve diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support adapted to the needs and abilities of students with exceptionalities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
