Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and current Louisiana Department of Education certification with Special Education endorsement (required)
• Demonstrated experience supporting students in special education settings
• Readiness and eligibility for immediate school-based assignment—candidates working towards certification will not be considered
• Completion of district-specific credentialing, including a drug screen and fingerprint clearance
• Strong communication skills, collaboration mindset, and commitment to inclusive education

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to students with special needs, adapting to their learning styles
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with Louisiana requirements
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate findings to families and colleagues
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to optimize student outcomes
