Key Qualifications:

  • Active Louisiana Department of Education Certification with a Special Education (SPED) endorsement is required
  • Must currently hold all necessary credentials; applications awaiting certification, TA, or TAT will not be considered
  • Experience in special education settings preferred, with adaptability for varying caseloads and age groups
  • Successful completion of time-sensitive district credentialing, including required drug screen and fingerprinting
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students
  • Collaborate with general educators, related service providers, and families to support student growth
  • Monitor progress and adjust instruction to meet each student’s unique needs
