K-5 Special Education Teacher - Middletown, Connecticut

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction to students in resource or push-in classroom environments
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Manage caseloads, coordinate meetings, and maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal standards
• Collaborate actively with general education teachers, families, and support staff
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Connecticut Special Education Teacher certification (165 or 265 required)
• Applications from DSAP-certified candidates may be considered
