Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher license in Connecticut (165 or 265 Certification required)
- Open to candidates with DSAP certification
- Classroom experience with secondary students (grades 6–12) preferred
- Proven skills in IEP development, case management, and direct instruction
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to middle and high school students in resource/push-in settings
- Write and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Manage caseload and collaborate with teams to meet students’ needs
- Foster an inclusive learning environment focused on student growth
