Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain in Delaware)
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting
  • Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and implementation strategies
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and colleagues
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive, and engaging classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students with varying abilities
  • Implement and monitor individualized education programs, ensuring compliance with all requirements
