• Valid Delaware Early Childhood Special Education certification
• Classroom experience with early learners (ages 3-5) required
• Demonstrated expertise supporting students with all types of disabilities

• Proven success utilizing strategies for managing and redirecting negative behaviors
• Collaborative approach with families, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored instruction and differentiated support to a caseload of approximately 10 students
• Collaborate with support staff, families, and related services to implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Create and maintain a nurturing, structured classroom environment focused on growth and inclusivity
• Employ evidence-based strategies to address behavioral challenges and encourage positive social outcomes
• Track student progress and data to adjust instructional plans as needed
• Foster strong relationships with families to support student success beyond the classroom
