You'll be closely collaborating with classroom paras and a dedicated team to address academic, behavioral, and developmental needs for students with mild to moderate as well as moderate to severe behavioral challenges.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid state Special Education Teaching Certification
• Prior experience teaching elementary-aged students strongly preferred
• Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for behavior management
• Ability to collaborate effectively with paras and other classroom staff
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs
• Design and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction that aligns with students’ goals
• Manage and support a structured classroom environment with the help of paras

• Regularly assess student progress and share insights with families and support staff
