Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher and Case Manager for grades Kindergarten through 5th. This rewarding role focuses on fostering growth and success for students with mild to moderate needs in a resource/interrelated setting. Approximately 17–20 students comprise the caseload, allowing you to make a significant impact while building close connections within your group.

Your day-to-day will include designing and implementing individualized instruction, collaborating with staff, and expertly managing IEPs to ensure compliance and positive learning outcomes. This position follows a schedule of Monday through Friday, from around 7:45 AM to 3:25 PM, providing a consistent work routine in a supportive environment.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification or licensure (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged students (Kindergarten–5th grade)
  • Proven ability to manage a moderate caseload of students with diverse learning needs
  • Skilled in writing, implementing, and tracking Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Comfortable collaborating in a team-focused environment with general educators, related services, and families

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging instruction tailored to the needs of each student
  • Case manage a caseload of approximately 17–20 students, ensuring all IEP services and progress monitoring are completed timely
  • Maintain thorough and compliant student records
  • Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student success and compliance
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
