Special Education Teacher in Milford, MA

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged students
• Familiarity with the inclusion classroom model and ability to provide differentiated instruction
• Experience managing moderate caseloads and developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families
• Commitment to fostering an engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement instructional strategies tailored to diverse learners within an inclusion setting
• Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Provide direct support and individualized interventions for students with special needs
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers and support staff to adapt curriculum and materials
• Track student progress, maintain records, and communicate regularly with families and team members
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive school culture
