Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and valid Special Education certification in Pennsylvania (SPED-PA)
- Previous experience teaching or supporting early childhood or preschool-aged children is ideal
- Knowledge of individualized instruction and best practices for students with diverse needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, parents, and administration
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students ages 3-5
- Provide direct instruction and support tailored to each child’s unique needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to ensure cohesive educational planning
- Collect and monitor student data to evaluate progress and adjust strategies
- Maintain accurate records and fulfill all compliance requirements
- Participate in meetings and professional development as needed
