Special Education Teacher - CA

Special Education Teacher -Moderate/Severe | Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year

We're seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers to join a supportive school community for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, onsite opportunity serves TK–Kindergarten students in an Extensive Support Needs (ESN)/Moderate to Severe classroom, where you'll help young learners build foundational academic, communication, and life skills in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide individualized instruction aligned with each student's IEP goals
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster a structured, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, related service providers, and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with special education requirements

Qualifications
• Valid Special Education teaching license/certification
• Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
