As a licensed specialist, you'll collaborate with a committed team and have the chance to tailor meaningful, individualized support plans, ensuring all learners thrive. You’ll serve as a key member of the school's Inclusive Support Education (ISE) program, providing essential guidance, structure, and encouragement.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active teaching license issued by the state
• Special Education certification required
• Experience as a Moderate/Severe ISE Specialist preferred
• Strong background in K-5 education and individualized instruction
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment
• Effective communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans and behavior strategies for students with moderate to severe learning needs
• Oversee and manage a caseload of elementary students, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to promote student success
• Maintain clear, accurate records and required documentation for compliance
• Actively engage with families and guardians to support each student’s growth and development
• Work a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
