Licensed K-5 Special Education Teacher | Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Make an impact as a dedicated moderate/severe ISE Specialist, working with elementary students in a vibrant setting near Milwaukee, WI. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, active teaching license for the state
• Certification in Special Education
• Experience with moderate/severe caseloads preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Commitment to promoting student independence and success

Key Responsibilities:

• Support a caseload of K–5 students requiring moderate to severe special education services
• Develop, review, and implement IEPs in collaboration with families and support staff
• Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to meet diverse student needs
• Monitor and document student progress, using data to inform instructional adjustments
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians about student goals and progress
• Advocate for student needs and participate in IEP meetings

Role Details:

• Contract position
• Full-time hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm (37.5 hours per week)
• Serve elementary-aged students within a supportive school community
