Qualifications & Experience:

• Active certification as a Special Education teacher in Wisconsin
• Strong background in working with students with diverse learning needs (K-12)
• Prior experience developing, implementing, and managing IEPs
• Proficient in adapting instruction and curriculum to suit individual needs
• Demonstrated flexibility—able to excel in self-contained, inclusion, resource, or co-teaching models
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to meet the wide-ranging needs of students with disabilities
• Develop, review, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Foster an inclusive, respectful classroom climate that encourages student independence and self-advocacy
• Coordinate with general education staff and related service providers to maximize student outcomes in various instructional settings
• Maintain accurate, consistent documentation and progress reports
• Actively participate in IEP and team meetings, contributing insights and advocating effectively for students
• Support families and caregivers with ongoing communication and guidance
