Special Education Teacher - Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credentials in Wisconsin
• Prior experience working with K-12 caseloads, including self-contained and resource classrooms
• Proficiency in all general Special Education teaching roles and duties
• Demonstrated experience developing and administering Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong work ethic and commitment to student growth
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families
• Growth mindset and willingness to adapt to changing student and classroom needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction tailored to the individual needs of K-12 students
• Design, implement, and document IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Foster a nurturing, supportive classroom environment to encourage academic and social growth
• Utilize a variety of instructional methods and strategies for students with diverse learning profiles
• Maintain open communication and collaboration with fellow educators, support staff, and families
• Accurately track and report on student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
