Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities
• Experience working with diverse learner populations, especially those with significant support needs
• Proven ability to adapt instruction and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Tier 3 or 4 licensure is required
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to students enrolled in special programs, adapting curriculum to meet a range of needs
• Design and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs) collaboratively
• Engage students in resource and RISE classroom settings, including positions dedicated to Sanburg Middle School
• Foster a supportive, inclusive learning atmosphere promoting growth, independence, and success
• Maintain consistent collaboration with support staff, families, and other educators
• Monitor and document student progress while maintaining compliance with all state and district regulations
