This contract opportunity runs from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027, requiring a passionate Special Education professional ready to foster growth and development at all age levels. With three positions open, you’ll be part of a dedicated team making a real difference for learners requiring Tier 3 or 4 intervention.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Minnesota teaching credential in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities
  • Experience or expertise working within special programs and all age levels
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet a diverse range of learning abilities
  • Strong collaboration skills with teachers, specialists, and families
  • Demonstrated competence supporting students in Tier 3 or 4 intervention settings
  • Willingness to engage fully onsite; remote/virtual placements are not permitted for this role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
  • Assess student performance and adjust strategies for optimal learning outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with related service providers to support holistic student progress
  • Maintain thorough records and documentation that comply with district and state requirements
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom climate focused on student empowerment
  • Engage in ongoing communication with families to ensure continuity of care and progress
