Shape the future for students with unique learning needs by bringing your expertise to a dynamic educational environment dedicated to supporting growth and achievement. Multiple contract opportunities are available for experienced Special Education professionals for the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning September 8, 2026, and running through June 10, 2027. With a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team at various elementary schools, serving center-based ASD/DCD, center-based SEL, and resource classrooms.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Special Education teaching experience (excluding experience as a general education teacher, paraprofessional, or substitute)
  • Valid Minnesota Special Education teaching license—Tier 3 or 4 status required
  • Appropriate endorsements:
    • ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and/or DCD (Developmental Cognitive Disorder) for center-based ASD/DCD positions
    • EBD (Emotional Behavior Disorder), ASD, or DCD for center-based SEL
    • ABS (Academic Behavior Strategist), EBD, ASD, or DCD for resource settings
  • Commitment to individualized instruction and collaborative teamwork

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction within center-based and resource settings for students with ASD, DCD, EBD, or other qualifying needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student abilities and goals
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to promote student success
  • Collect, monitor, and report student progress regularly
