Most positions prefer in-person instruction, though hybrid options may be considered for select roles.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current, active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education
  • Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher, working effectively with students requiring varied educational and behavioral supports
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to adapt instruction for individualized student needs
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive, and safe classroom environment
  • Ability to work the entire contract: August 24, 2026 – June 11, 2027, for 37.5 hours per week
  • Professional references required, with verification that you have not ended previous positions in the district on adverse terms

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and interventions tailored to each student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP)
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with fellow educators, therapists, and families
  • Track student progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Create engaging, supportive learning experiences to promote social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Provide positive behavioral interventions and supports
