This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students through an itinerant support model from August 24, 2026, to May 28, 2027. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching license with a Physical and Health Disabilities (P/HD) endorsement
• Experience working with K-12 students with physical and health-related needs
• Deep understanding of curriculum modifications, classroom accessibility, and assistive technology
• Proficiency in conducting functional evaluations, developing and maintaining IEPs, and tracking student progress
• Demonstrated collaboration with professionals such as occupational therapists, physical therapists, and general education teachers
• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage due process documentation
• Ability to travel between schools as part of an itinerant support model

What You’ll Do:

• Provide expert consultation and support across multiple campuses regarding accessibility, curriculum adaptation, and effective assistive technology implementation
• Perform comprehensive functional evaluations and write individualized education plans to meet unique student needs
• Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining meticulous compliance with due process requirements
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
• Engage with educators, families, and specialists to advocate for inclusive education
• Deliver onsite-only services, fostering hands-on support and relationship-building
