Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Special Education license with Physical and Health Disabilities (P/HD) endorsement
• Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings
• Expertise in adapting curriculum, implementing assistive technology, and optimizing classroom accessibility
• Strong knowledge of functional evaluation, individualized education plan (IEP) development, and ongoing progress monitoring
• Proven track record of effective collaboration with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and general education staff
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Willingness to work exclusively on-site throughout the contract term

Responsibilities:

• Consult with educators regarding curriculum modifications and accessible instructional strategies
• Evaluate student needs through comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans
• Facilitate the use of assistive technology to enhance student participation and success
• Monitor and document student progress, ensuring due process compliance
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to develop holistic support plans
• Serve as a resource for staff on accessibility and adaptation best practices
