You’ll work with kindergarten students who receive a significant portion of their educational services in a setting III, center-based classroom, allowing for individualized attention and truly tailored teaching.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher licensure (appropriate for Minnesota)
• Prior experience teaching students with diverse learning needs, preferably at the kindergarten level
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and specialized instructional strategies
• Exceptional communication and collaborative skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability in a dynamic, child-centered environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to a caseload of 5-8 kindergarten students, implementing comprehensive IEPs
• Deliver 60-100% of special education services in a structured, center-based classroom
• Develop and modify instructional materials and lessons to accommodate individual needs and promote academic, social, and behavioral growth
• Work closely with families, support staff, and related service providers to create a holistic learning experience
• Collect data and maintain detailed records to track student progress and inform instruction
