Desired Qualifications:

• Currently hold (or eligible for) a valid Tier 4 Early Childhood Special Education license
• Previous experience working with early childhood or preschool student populations, especially those with special needs
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to work collaboratively with paraprofessionals, therapists, families, and administrative staff
• Excellent communication, patience, and adaptability

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized lesson plans rooted in evidence-based practices
• Assess student abilities and progress, documenting findings and updating IEPs as needed
• Foster a welcoming environment that supports each child’s learning, social-emotional development, and independence
• Partner with families and allied professionals to develop and adapt instructional and behavioral strategies
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and nurturing classroom
